The monarchy in Canada is more than a historical curiosity or a ceremonial feature of government. The Queen is the product and embodiment of centuries of imperial expansion, constitutional power struggles, and wars between nations. This exhibition will feature the artwork of four extremely divergent artists inspired by the heavy curtain of colonialism and the spirit of rebellion.

The exhibition consists of post-apocalyptic metal sculpture, street art, painting, and media art. What does the Queen and the Monarchy mean to you? What do you know about the colonial history of Canada? Do you enjoy living under the yoke of the Crown to this day?
